Organize PDF pages visually: drag thumbnails into a new order, rotate the ones that are sideways and delete the ones you don’t want. It’s the quickest fix for a scan that came out shuffled, a report with an appendix in the wrong place or a deck that needs its slides reordered.

This PDF organizer runs in your browser, so your document is rearranged on your own device rather than on someone else’s server. Nothing is uploaded, and there is no limit on how many pages you can rearrange.

Use it free, without an account, a watermark or a daily limit. Long PDFs are fine; the only ceiling is the memory available on your device. Pages are moved and turned rather than re-rendered, so the saved file looks just as sharp as the one you started with.

How to use Organize PDF

  1. Load your PDF

Drop a PDF onto the page or choose it from your device. Every page appears as a thumbnail.

  2. Rearrange, rotate or delete

Drag pages into a new position, use the rotate control on any page that’s turned the wrong way, and delete pages you don’t need.

  3. Click Save PDF

Press Save PDF to build a new file with your changes applied in the order shown.

  4. Download

Save the reorganized PDF. The original stays exactly as it was.

How to rearrange pages in a PDF

Click and hold a page thumbnail, then drag it to its new spot; the other pages shift to make room. On a touchscreen, press and drag in the same way. When the grid looks right, save the file and the new order is permanent.

If your pages are spread across several files, combine them with Merge PDF first, then come back here to fine-tune the page order in the merged document.

Working through a long document? Thumbnails make it easy to spot a page that’s out of place, such as a chart that belongs in chapter two or a signature page that slipped to the front. Fix the obvious problems first, then scroll through once more before saving.

Fixing a messy scan in one pass

Scanning double-sided paper often leaves pages out of sequence, upside down or interleaved with blank backs. Organizing them here takes one visit instead of three separate tools:

  • Delete the blank reverse sides.
  • Rotate upside-down pages by 180 degrees, or sideways pages by 90.
  • Drag the remaining pages into reading order, then save.

Organizing PDFs without Acrobat

Reordering pages is a paid feature in Adobe Acrobat, but basic page organization doesn’t need a subscription. Any modern browser on Windows, Mac, Linux, Android or iOS can do it here.

Mac owners can drag pages around in Preview’s thumbnail sidebar, which works well for short files. For long documents, a large grid of thumbnails makes it easier to see where each page sits.

Questions people ask

Is this PDF organizer free?

Yes. Reordering, rotating and deleting pages is free with no sign-up and no watermark.

Does the PDF get uploaded?

No. The pages are rearranged in your browser on your own device, and no copy is sent to a server.

Can I reorder PDF pages on an iPad or phone?

Yes. Open the page in a mobile browser, then press and drag the thumbnails to move them.

Will rotating or reordering lower the quality?

No. Pages are moved and turned without being re-rendered, so text and images look exactly as before.

Can I add pages from another PDF?

Not in this tool. Use Merge PDF to combine the files first, then organize the pages of the merged document here.

Why won’t my PDF open?

Files protected with an opening password can’t be read by the tool. Remove the password with the Unlock PDF tool and load the unlocked copy.
