Convert TXT to PDF by dropping in a text file or pasting text straight into the box. The result is a neatly wrapped, paginated document that’s easier to print, share or archive than a raw .txt file. Log files and other plain-text formats work too.
Pick a sans-serif font for everyday reading or monospace for code, logs and anything that relies on aligned columns. Most languages are supported, including Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Hindi, Greek and Cyrillic. Right-to-left scripts such as Arabic and Hebrew are not laid out correctly yet.
Conversion takes place in your browser, so the text is never uploaded, which is reassuring when a log file contains server names, email addresses or API keys. It’s free, with no account and no watermark, and several .txt files can be converted in one go.

Sans serif or monospace: which to choose
Sans serif suits notes, letters, transcripts and most prose. It’s easy on the eyes and fits more words on each line.
Monospace gives every character the same width. Use it for source code, server logs, configuration files and ASCII tables, where spacing carries meaning and columns need to line up. Long lines wrap onto the next line rather than running off the page.
Converting pasted text to PDF
You don’t need a file at all. Copy text from an email, a chat, a web page or a notes app, paste it into the box and convert. It’s a quick way to keep a record of something, or to send text to someone who prefers a PDF.
Formatting such as bold or links isn’t carried over, because plain text has none. If your text uses Markdown symbols like # and *, Markdown to PDF will turn them into real headings and lists.
Printing long logs and notes
Smaller font sizes fit more on a page. A size of 8 or 9 in monospace often keeps wide log lines from wrapping, while 11 or 12 is comfortable for reading on paper.
US Letter suits printing in the US and Canada, while A4 is the norm almost everywhere else, including the UK and Australia. Picking the right size avoids awkward scaling when the PDF reaches a printer.

Questions people ask
Is TXT to PDF free?
Yes. There’s no cost, no sign-up and no watermark.
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. The PDF is generated in your browser, so your text stays on your device.
Does it support languages other than English?
Yes. Most languages work, including Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Hindi, Greek and Cyrillic. Arabic and Hebrew are not laid out right to left yet, and emoji are not shown.
Can I change the font size?
Yes. Set Font size anywhere from 6 to 24 before converting.
Can I convert several text files at once?
Yes. Drop multiple .txt files and each one becomes its own PDF.
How do I convert a text file to PDF on Windows?
Open this page in Edge or Chrome, drop the .txt file in and click Convert to PDF. You can also print from Notepad to Microsoft Print to PDF, but you’ll have fewer layout choices.
Which font should I use for code?
Choose Monospace. Every character takes the same width, so indentation and aligned columns keep their shape.
