Convert PDF to PPT and turn every page of a document into a PowerPoint slide. It’s the quickest way to present a PDF report, a lecture handout or a deck someone sent you as a PDF, with proper slide-by-slide navigation, presenter view and room for your own notes.
Each page becomes one slide, placed as a full-slide image so it looks exactly like the original. The PPTX is created in your browser, so the PDF is never uploaded to a server.
It’s free, with no sign-up and no watermark, and the file opens in PowerPoint, Keynote and Google Slides. Teachers use it to project a PDF worksheet, and sales teams use it to drop a partner’s PDF brochure into their own deck.
How to use PDF to PPT
Choose your PDF
Drag the PDF into the drop area, or tap to select it from your files.
Pick the slide quality
Under Slide quality, choose Smaller file, Standard or High.
Click Convert to PPTX
Press Convert to PPTX. Each PDF page becomes one slide.
Download and present
Save the PPTX and open it in PowerPoint, Keynote or Google Slides.
Can you edit the slides?
Each slide holds an image of the PDF page, so the text on it isn’t editable as PowerPoint text. That’s a deliberate trade-off: the layout, fonts and graphics look exactly like the PDF, with no shifted text boxes or substituted fonts.
You can still add things on top: new text boxes, arrows, highlights, animations and speaker notes. If you need to change the words themselves, convert the PDF with PDF to Word instead and copy the text across.
Speaker notes are a good place for the talking points that would otherwise crowd the page.
Choosing slide quality
Smaller file keeps the PPTX light for email and quick sharing. Standard looks sharp on most laptops and meeting-room screens. High is best for large projectors, 4K displays or slides with small print and detailed charts, but it makes a bigger file. If you’re unsure, start with Standard and only step up to High if fine text looks soft when projected.
Using the PPTX in Google Slides and Keynote
To present in Google Slides, upload the PPTX to Google Drive and open it with Slides. On a Mac, Keynote opens PPTX files directly.
Once the deck is open, you can delete slides you don’t need, reorder them in the slide sorter, and add title slides or transitions like in any other presentation.
If you only need images of a few pages for an existing deck, PDF to JPG or PDF to PNG gives you individual files you can drop onto your own slides.
Questions people ask
Is PDF to PowerPoint conversion free?
Yes. It’s free, with no account and no watermark.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The presentation is built in your browser, so the PDF stays on your device.
Can I edit the text in the converted slides?
No. Each slide is an image of the PDF page. You can add new text, shapes and notes on top, but the original words aren’t editable.
Does it keep the original layout?
Yes. Because each page is placed as an image, the slides look exactly like the PDF pages.
Can I convert a PDF to PPT on a Mac?
Yes. Use this page in Safari or Chrome, then open the PPTX in Keynote or PowerPoint for Mac.
How many slides will I get?
One slide per PDF page. A 12-page PDF becomes a 12-slide presentation.
Why is the PowerPoint file large?
Each slide is a full-page image. Choose Smaller file under Slide quality to reduce the size.
