Convert PDF to PNG and get lossless images of every page. PNG keeps text, lines and diagrams crisp, which makes it the better choice for documentation screenshots, technical drawings, charts and anything you plan to edit in a design tool.
An optional transparent background lets you place logos, signatures or diagrams from a PDF onto other designs without a white box around them. The pages are rendered in your browser, so the PDF is not uploaded anywhere.
It’s free, with no account and no watermark, and all images arrive together in one ZIP file. Choose the resolution to suit the job, from small previews at 72 DPI up to 300 DPI images that hold up when printed or zoomed.

Getting a transparent PNG from a PDF
Many logos and vector graphics are distributed as PDFs. With Transparent background ticked, areas of the page with nothing drawn on them become see-through, so the graphic sits cleanly on any color in Figma, Canva, PowerPoint or a website.
This only works where the PDF itself has an empty page background. If the PDF has a white rectangle drawn behind the content, that rectangle is part of the design and will stay white.
PDF to PNG for documentation and slides
Writers often need an image of a page for a help article, a wiki or a presentation. Standard (150 DPI) gives clean images that look sharp on most screens. For high-density displays or when readers will zoom in, Print (300 DPI) is worth the larger files.
Designers sometimes receive icons or illustrations only as PDF. Converting at Print (300 DPI) with a transparent background gives a high-resolution PNG you can resize and layer without a visible edge.
If you need every page as a slide, PDF to PPT builds the presentation for you.
Why PNG files are larger than JPG
PNG compression is lossless: every pixel is stored exactly. That’s why text stays razor-sharp, and it’s also why PNGs of photo-heavy pages can be several times larger than JPGs. For pages that are mostly photographs, PDF to JPG gives smaller files with little visible difference.
If a ZIP of PNGs is too big to share, lower the resolution a step before switching formats. A Standard (150 DPI) image has about a quarter of the pixels of a Print (300 DPI) one.
