Rotate PDF pages and save them that way for good. Phone scans and landscape tables often open sideways, and turning them in a viewer only lasts until you close the file. This tool writes the new orientation into the PDF so it opens the right way everywhere.
You can turn every page or only specific ones, by 90 degrees either way or a full 180. Several PDFs can be rotated in one go with the same setting, which helps when a whole batch of scans came out the same wrong way.
It runs in your browser, so the PDFs are processed on your own device and never uploaded. It’s free, with no account and no watermark. Turning a page doesn’t re-render it, which means text stays selectable and the file size barely changes after rotation.

Choose the rotation
Under Rotate by, pick 90° clockwise, 180° or 90° counter-clockwise.
Pick the pages
Leave Pages set to all, or list specific pages like 1, 3-5 to turn only those.
Click Rotate PDF
Press Rotate PDF, then download the corrected files.
How to rotate a PDF and save it permanently
Most PDF readers, including Edge, Chrome and Adobe Reader, have a rotate button, but it only changes the current view. The next time you open the document, or when you send it to someone, it’s sideways again.
Rotating here changes the page orientation stored inside the file. Download the result and it will open correctly in any app, on any device, for anyone you share it with.
Rotating only some pages
A report might have one wide chart on page 7 that needs turning while the rest stay portrait. Type 7 in the Pages field and choose the direction. For several pages, separate them with commas and use a dash for ranges, for example 2, 7, 10-12.
If different pages need different directions, run the tool twice, or open the file in Organize PDF, where each page has its own rotate control.
Rotate PDF pages on Mac, Windows or phone
Since it works in the browser, the same steps apply on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS. On a Mac, Preview can also rotate pages and save the change. On Windows, there’s no built-in way to save a rotation without extra software, so a browser tool is the simplest fix.
Phone scanning apps are a common source of sideways pages, because the phone guessed the orientation wrong. If every page in a scan is off by the same amount, leave Pages set to all and fix the whole file in one pass.
